Museum Mourns Murder of Holocaust Educator Alex Dancyg

WASHINGTON, DC – The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum mourns the loss of Alex Dancyg, esteemed Holocaust educator at Yad Vashem, who was murdered by Hamas terrorists after being taken hostage on October 7. Born in Poland to Holocaust survivors, Mr. Dancyg tirelessly devoted his life to advancing  Holocaust education and memory. The Museum extends its deepest sympathies to his family, friends, and all of our many colleagues at Yad Vashem.
